Wylda Bayron

Wylda was born in Puerto Rico, speaks English, Spanish & Pidgin, most importantly loves what she does!

She recently finished production as the Director of Photography on 2 episodes of the HBO Max series “AND JUST LIKE THAT…” and will work 2nd Unit DP/camera operator on “LOVE AND DEATH”, limited series for HBO. She also has Directed the Netflix series “DATING AROUND” as well as served as the Director of Photography on 3 episodes. In 2020 she had her first solo exhibition in Paris at 193 Gallery, following a very successful run at the Musee De La Castre Cannes with her “HEROES AND SPIRITS OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA” show and book. As Camara Operator she has worked on  “RUSSIAN DOLL 2”, “BOYS IN THE BAND”, “LISEY’S STORY”, “INVASION”,  “FOSSE/VERDON”,  “POSE” Season 2,  “ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK” Seasons 4,5 & 6, “BILLIONS” season 4, “GIRLS” season 6, “MADAM SECRETARY” Season 4 & 5 and “THE GOOD FIGHT” Season 2.  As Director of Photography, she has worked on Netflix’s hit series “ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK” Seasons 4-7 and 6/EP10 as well as 2nd Unit for  “FOSSE/VERDON” and “POSE” Seasons 2 and 3. Wylda has lensed commercials for Royal Caribbean Cruises, Crown Royal and Converse for agencies like Anomaly London/NY and JWT. Lastly, her photographic work has been selected for National Geographic and the Smithsonian Magazine. Wylda is currently working on a book and several exhibitions about her 18 months solo journey in Papua New Guinea.
