After cultivating a theatrical background in costume design with an arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Whitney Galitz set her sights on Hollywood. Over the years, Whitney has put her skill set of garment construction, aging, rendering illustration and design to work on projects such as FX’s ​Nip/Tuck​, NBC’s ​The Office​, Disney’s ​McFarland, USA​, Columbia Pictures’ ​Pixels​, Netflix’s ​Love​, Golden Globe nominated ​Danny Collins​, and other independent projects. In addition to her work in entertainment, Whitney started a luxury lingerie line in 2010 called Good Night Gilda. Recognized internationally, the brand was known for its homage to old Hollywood glamour with its use of refined fabrics and retro style. An active member of the Costume Designer’s Guild, Whitney joined the Marvel family in 2015 and started

work under renowned designer Ann Foley on ​Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ​for ABC Television. In 2017, she took over designing from Ann and continued in her role there until the finale season 7. As the costume designer of a major network television series, Whitney has built entire new worlds ranging from contemporary to sci-fi to period. She never ceases to grow in her field and plans to pursue her passion for design in future projects for film and television.
