Véronique believes stories have the power to influence our perception of the world and of others through the process of empathy. She is motivated in closely collaborating with directors to find the best way to relate their stories and the internal worlds of their characters to audiences.

Versatile, precise, and sensitive, her role is to be an ally to support, challenge, and enrich the director’s vision.

Over the past decade, Véronique have been editing on Canadian and American productions such as HBO’s Emmy Award-winning series Big Little Lies (season 1 & 2), and Sharp Objects, directed by Jean-Marc Vallée. Her collaboration on the feature film The Rest of Us (2019), starring Heather Graham and Jodi Balfour, earned a CCE award nomination for Best Editing.

Within the realm of psychological science fiction, she edited the stand-out feature film Balestra (2023) and the award-winning series Plan B – Season 2 (2024).  Most recently, Véronique co-edited the historical drama miniseries So Long, Marianne (2024), which beautifully encapsulates the love story of Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen.  Featuring Alex Wolff, Peter Stormare, Anna Torv, and Thea Sofie Loch Næss, it premiered at the Series Mania international competition.
