Toby Romero is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer working internationally across narrative, documentary, commercial, and music-driven projects. An American and EU citizen, his perspective is shaped by Norwegian and Latino roots.
His work spans feature-length films, episodic storytelling, and short-form pieces, emphasizing close collaboration with directors and character-driven narratives. Toby approaches image-making through a psychological lens, balancing naturalistic light with controlled, stylized compositions.
When not on set, Toby spends time surfing the Pacific and snowboarding in the Rockies.
