Tegan Taylor

Tegan Taylor has been on the cutting edge of her craft for the past 2 decades. As world renowned makeup artist for her work in “Avatar” her versatile skills and expertise have led to her work as department head on numerous high profile features and television shows. She’s worked closely with the industry’s leading directors; including James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, John Ridley and Takashi Shimizu. In addition, Tegan’s detailed skills in beauty makeup have led to her work with many of the world’s most beautiful and talented celebrities. She’s been guest speaker at workshops around the world for her cutting edge work in 4K makeup techniques and has been featured in magazines including Vogue, In Style, Runway live, and Vanity Fair to name a few.

Tegan has been guest speaker at numerous prestigious universities and institutions around the world, including NIT in India, Telemundo Academy in Mexico City, Dubai University, and Academy of the Technologies, South Africa.

Tegan created the digital makeup used for CGI and Mocap filming around the world. Her lab “Mocap FX (Mocapfx.com) caters to her prestigious clients including Sony Playstation, Weta Digital, Imagemovers, etc.

Tegan currently lives in Los Angeles, and is available for work and guest lectures internationally.
