Editor
Tammis is an established editor with some 25 years of editing film and television. She studied Theater and Economics at Barnard College, Film at Columbia Film School and Journalism at Columbia Journalism School both in NYC. She began her filmmaking career in New York working on news and award-winning documentaries.
In film editing she merged her passion for film, languages, and storytelling.
After moving to California, she started editing feature-length films first for Roger Corman. And later with directors including Tracey Ullman and Thomas Schlamme (Tracey Takes On…), Jack Bender (The Sopranos, I’ll Fly Away), Steve Conrad (Patriot, Perpetual Grace, LTD) and Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Killer.)
Her career encompasses many hour dramas, most recently “Outlander”. She is loyal and trustworthy, and dedicated to doing the best job possible. In a team, she is always willing to further the creators’ vision by being realistic, creative and flexible.
