Shelly Strong

Shelly Strong is a film Producer who hails from Western Maryland.  She got her start working on movies in Baltimore, Maryland.   Relocating to Los Angeles, she began a career as an independent Producer.  Eventually moving into the studio system where she worked as a VP of Production for Dreamworks/Amblin.  Rising through the ranks to serve as Head of Physical Production for 5 years. Strong has worked on over 80 films, select credits include Tropic Thunder, The Help, Lincoln, Finch and 1917. Shelly returned to the East Coast during the pandemic and is once again enjoying freelancing, having recently Executive Produced “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible,  No Good, Very Bad Road Trip” for Disney +.

Strong serves on several boards and committees, while also mentoring young filmmakers and actively serving her hometown community.
