Samantha Lavin

Samantha Lavin broke into the industry as a DGA Trainee in New York and built a career as a 1st Assistant Director on network shows like “Lethal Weapon and “CSI NY” as well as “Lucifer,” “Dear White People” and “Fatal Attraction.”  Sam has collaborated and built relationships with A-List actors, Producers and Showrunners in a variety of genres. Having directed several films and TV shows that have sold to MTV and NBC Universal, she’s honed the skills to shoot economically while deeply enhancing the vision of a show or world of a film as an AD or director.  Her feature film, “7 on 10” is slated to go into production this year with CL9 Productions. As a writer, Sam has optioned scripts, placed highly in competitions and was most recently a finalist on The Athena List which awards the best unproduced screenplays by women.
