VFX Producer
Rodney Montague is a seasoned Visual Effects professional.
Before being named as Visual Effects Consultant on the upcoming limited series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew”, Rodney was responsible for producing multiple projects simultaneously at the botique facility Barnstorm. These include “The Terminal List”, “Star Trek: Picard”, and the Emmy Award “Ted Lasso.”
Prior to joining Barnstorm, Rodney was VFX Associate Producer on some of the biggest theatrical releases ever made including “Fast and Furious 8”, “47 Ronin”, and Geostorm. Rodney planned all these productions from the script stage, developed budgets, supervised production on location, and followed through with bidding, awarding, and delivering final shots to editorial and the Digital Intermediate facility. Rodney earned a BFA from the University of Utah, after which he went on to study in the Film Studies program at UCLA Extension.
