Roc Chen has made history as the first film composer from China to reach $5 billion in global box office from his credits combined. With over 20 years’ experience, Roc has worked on 200+ films&series, including Ne Zha 2, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Wandering Earth1&2, Jackie Chan film, Ubisoft video games, and many more. He has collaborated with major studios such as DreamWorks, Disney, Universal, BBC, 20th Century Fox, Huayi Brothers (partner of STX), China Film Group, and so forth.

Before he obtained his master degree of composition from Music Conservatory, he chose the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China for his bachelor degree, making him a master of both art and technology. He now works from his state-of-the-art music studios in Los Angeles and Beijing.
Jackie Chan spoke highly of Roc’s music for his blockbuster film CZ12 at the film’s premiere. Roc works with orchestras around the global and has access to session players who specialize in both Western and Eastern instruments.
