Peter Lhotka

With over 36 years experience, Producer PETER LHOTKA has established himself as a veteran in the motion picture industry.

As the Producer of “Wind Chill” for Sony with Executive Producers George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh and the cult classic “Trick ‘r Treat” for Warner Bros with Executive Producer Brian Singer, Peter has established an impressive track record.

While Peter has produced a number of TV movies including “Dawn Anna” starring Debra Winger, “Family Sins” Sony/CBS, “Christmas Rush” & “Shutterspeed” for Sony, “Return to Halloweentown” for Disney Channel, “Life in a Day” “Mars” “Roswell” and ”Dreamhouse” for Paramount, he has also turned his drive and energy to TV series work. He was the producer of the series “Siren” for Disney/Freeform, “The Arrangement” for Universal Cable, “Level Up” and “Tower Prep” for Turner, pilot of Stephen Kings “The Dead Zone”, “Jake and the Kid” for which he received a Gemini Nomination for Best Dramatic Series.

With a history of involvement in stage as a performer, manager and administrator, Lhotka was a natural for film work. In film production he took the role of production manager on the theatrically released films “Angel Square,” “Bordertown Café,” and “Solitaire.”  Lhotka then worked on “For the Moment” starring Russell Crowe (Gladiator) before turning his hand to Producing.

Lhotka has established a solid reputation for being well versed in both the creative and logistical aspects of making motion pictures and his ability to produce a wide range of projects. This versatility makes him a high caliber addition to any production team. He is known for making the marriage of budget and creative a smooth one.
