Per Melita

Per is an experienced New York based Producer, Executive Producer, Line Producer, and DGA UPM active in both domestic and international Film and Television production. As a Producer, he has collaborated on over 15 feature films, a number of which have garnered awards at prestigious festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, and Venice as well as multiple Independent Spirit Award nominations. Per’s extensive physical production skills stem from having served as Executive Producer, Line Producer, and/or  DGA UPM on over 35 films, Per was born in Rome, speaks 6 languages, and lived extensively in Italy and in the Netherlands before relocating to New York. A former banker, he is a graduate of Fordham University’s MBA program in New York. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America (within which he was recently appointed Co-Chair of the Physical Production Committee), the Directors Guild of America, The Gotham, and the Independent Producers Alliance. Currently Per is in development for “In Broad Daylight”, a project on which he is also serving as Co-creator and which centers around themes of fraud, ethics, and corporate malfeasance in the world of finance.
