PECK PRIOR started his career in the entertainment industry working as a child actor in television commercials in the 1960’s. In the early 70’s he worked for Technicolor London selling super 8 showcase projectors to various industries in Europe. In the late 70’s he was hired as an apprentice editor for Universal Studios where he worked on the “Blues Brothers” and “Conan the Barbarian.” Advancing with his editing career he was an assistant editor on such films as “Let’s Spend the Night Together” with director Hal Ashby, “Footloose”, Protocol” and “Secret of My Success” with director Herbert Ross and “Trading Places” with director John Landis. His talents lead to a successful editing career working with top industry producers/directors such as John Hughes, John Milius, Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, Paul Feig and Nicholas Stoller on such films as “Planes Trains and Automobiles”, “Uncle Buck”, “Curly Sue”, “Joe Dirt”, “The Animal”, “The Hot Chick”, “Benchwarmers”, “Bridesmaids” and “The Five-Year Engagement.”
