Pamela Shepard

Costume Designer

Pamela is a costume designer and stylist that is skilled in creating authentic characters. With 17 years of experience in telling stories through wardrobe, Pamela works as an avid researcher to develop on screen personas. With a career that began exclusively in commercials and advertising, Pamela has worked with networks including Disney, Hulu, ESPN, and Viacom. Her recent credits include both seasons of the A24 show Ziwe, as well as the film All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt (Director Raven Jackson). With an early start in comedy (her first credit was The Rundown with Robin Thede), Pamela has gradually expanded into drama. As a sincere patron and lover of the arts, her work has also been showcased at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Director Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich), The Whitney (Director Tiona McClodden), and David Zwirner gallery (Photographer Stan Douglas).

In 2018 Pamela was invited to develop a styling curriculum for Parsons School of Design. With a heart for teaching and youth engagement, she presently teaches and serves as part time faculty. Although based in Brooklyn, New York, Pamela often travels for both work and pleasure. With a beautiful family and active community, she enjoys carving out moments to spend time with those she loves.
