Director of Photography
Owen is originally from County Kerry in Ireland. As a teenager, he started by making short movies with his pals. Ten years later, he graduated with a Degree in TV and Film before he lit episodes of “Little Dorrit”, and “Doctor Who” for BBC, along with other dramas for Channel 4, SKY Atlantic and ITV. Now based out of Dublin, he lensed “Penny Dreadful” for Showtime, “Vikings” for MGM, and “Shadow & Bone” for Netflix. He is currently shooting “Foundation” for Apple TV+. He won a TV BAFTA for his work on STARZ “DaVinci’s Demons” and is a founding member of the Irish Society of Cinematographers.
