Born in Manila, Philippines, Mona carries the work ethic of her immigrant roots into everything she does. She learned early that nothing would be handed to her, and that lesson shaped her into a natural leader — a trait she began honing as class president in school and later as a collegiate athlete, where discipline, teamwork, and communication became second nature. Those early experiences continue to inform how she leads on set today.
