Los Angeles based cinematographer & photographer from Chicago (Munster, Indiana actually). Michael Gauthier studied at Columbia College Chicago where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Science with a concentration in cinematography. After college, Michael spent two years working as an in-house cinematographer at the worldwide ad agency, FCB. In 2017, Michael moved to Los Angeles as a freelance cinematographer. Michael prides himself in adaptability with his experience in commercials, television, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and more. He also has the ability to shoot stills along-side motion. In his free time, you’ll find him in his garage fixing something on his 1974 Corvette Stingray while watching the ///NASCAR race.
