Production Designer
Maxine Shepard grew up in Los Angeles with a love for art, drawing and classic movies. Her early interest in graphic design led her to Stanford University and a B.A. in Design. After graduation, she combined her passion for film and art into the pursuit of a career in film production design.
Over the years, she has been privileged to design feature films ( You People, Soul Food), television series, pilots and commercials. Maxine has worked with many notable producers, including John Wells (Southland, Presidio Med), Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI Miami, Skin, Just Legal) and Kenya Barris (Blackish, Grownish, Mixed-ish, Black AF).
Film production continues to afford Maxine the opportunity to explore her commitment to storytelling through the use of color, form and architecture.
