Lynn Falconer

Costume Designer

Lynn Falconer is a Native Californian who moved to New York City in 1990 to pursue a Fashion Design career at the prestigious Parsons School of Design. She worked as a fashion designer in the garment and textile industry for seven years, but she felt that there was creatively more to fulfill than fabric and sample needs. Then, the chance to design Costumes for an independent film presented itself in 1998. The fact that she had never stepped onto a film set never occurred to her. Since then, Lynn Falconer has helmed as Costume Designer for Feature films, Television and Commercial projects nationwide, and is a member of both the Costume Designers Guild and the United Scenic Artists 829 of New York.

Recently Falconer created the costumes for the upcoming Season 2 : “THEM” The Scare with creator Little Marvin, which will premiere on April 25, 2024 on Amazon. Prior to that she teamed up with Director Tim Kirkby on feature “Last Looks” starring Mel Gibson and Charlie Hunnam for Hulu, and a remake of Don Johnson’s famous character and show “Nash Bridges” for Village Roadshow/USA Network. She is renown for her collaboration with Director/Creator Mike Flanagan and worked with him many times since 2014: the reimagining of the Shirley Jackson novel “The Haunting of Hill House” and the remake of the famous 1961 film The Innocents which would be Season 2: “The Haunting of Bly Manor” Both series were for Paramount TV/ Amblin Entertainment. She created other successful projects with Flanagan: ”Ouija: Origins of Evil” , “Hush”, and “Oculus”. Her work was seen in the Lionsgate release of the drama “The Frozen Ground” starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack. Falconer also often teams up to design Costumes for Director Rod Lurie, including the controversial remake of “Straw Dogs“, with Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth, and “Nothing But the Truth” starring Alan Alda, Matt Dillon and Kate Beckinsale. In the Commercial industry, she recently styled for Genesis Motors and Director Pascal Heiduk and Googlefish Babel with Lance Oppenheim. Falconer has styled Stephen Curry in several spots: JBL headphones for Matt Bieler, and Chase Bank for Director Walter Pfister. Falconer has also styled commercial spots with Directors Stacy Wall, Kim Geldenuys and Matt Aselton. When not traveling for work, Falconer has relocated back to the West Coast with her husband Michael and her son Harry, 17.
