Editor
Liza D. Espinas is a Film and Television Editor based in Los Angeles, California. Liza graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA Degree in Film and has dedicated her entire career to her love of editing.
Liza started her career as a 1st Assistant/Associate/Additional Editor on big studio features working with Hollywood legends like Robert Redford, Spike Lee, Doug Liman, Jaume Collet Serra and Adam McKay.
As an Editor, Liza has worked on a diverse slate of projects in both Film and Television including John Ridley’s AMERICAN CRIME (S1-S3), Tonya Saracho’s VIDA (S1-S3), Eva Longoria’s FLAMIN’ HOT for which she was nominated for an ACE Eddie Award in 2024, CMA award winning director T.K. McKamy’s country musical SOMETHING HERE, and most recently Ava DuVernay’s UNTITLED AVA DUVERNAY. She has also edited a number of independent features including Ben Reiki’s WATCH LIST, for which she won Indie Movie Editor of Year at the Star Awards for Movies in 2022.
Liza likes to spend her free time with her family, her cat, doing volunteer work and, as a licensed Zumba instructor, dancing.
