KEITH REAMER is a NY-based film and television editor who has been active in the film industry for more than 40 years. He grew up just outside of Atlantic City, NJ, and it is there where his abiding love for films and filmmaking began.
Since graduating from the University of Bridgeport’s late and lamented film program, Keith has edited over 60 features, documentaries and television shows. Many of his feature credits have gone on to premiere at Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, and Berlin. They include Maggie Greenwald’s The Ballad of Little Jo, Songcatcher and Sophie and the Rising Sun, Mary Harron’s I Shot Andy Warhol, Tony Bui’s Three Seasons, Jim Kohlberg’s The Music Never Stopped, Cherien Dabis’ Amreeka, Hilary Brougher’s Stephanie Daley and Jane Weinstock’s upcoming drama, Three Birthdays, to name but a few.
His documentary credits include The China Hustle for director Jed Rothstein and producer Alex Gibney, and Bill Traylor: Chasing Ghosts for director Jeffrey Wolf.
Keith’s television work is extensive, and ranges from movies such as Martin and Lewis for director John Gray and Maggie Greenwald’s What Makes a Family to the docuseries Empires of New York, directed by Matt Galkin, and recently, Amityville: An Origin Story, directed by Jack Riccobono.
Recently, Keith has had the opportunity to direct several documentaries, including Our Farms, Our Farmers with Murphy Birdsall, and Made A Movie, Lived To Tell with William Murray. Both premiered at the prestigious Montclair Film Festival.
Keith teaches and mentors film students at various university film programs throughout the country. He is a member of American Cinema Editors.
