Production Designer
Kathleen Widomski is a Production Designer who began her design journey in the theater, shaping stages for the Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, before launching into film and television with Medium.
Since then, Kathleen has brought her vision to over 375 episodes and films, including The Rookie, Never Have I Ever, Rutherford Falls, and Grown-ish, as well as acclaimed Art Direction work on True Blood and Ugly Betty—the latter earning her the ADG Excellence in Production Design Award as Art Director.
Kathleen’s also carried her design practice abroad as a U.S. Envoy to Saudi Arabia, meeting with new filmmakers eager to shape their own stories. At home she has volunteered with Youth In Action’s Film Collaboration, empowering foster youth in expanding their own potential.
Kathleen earned her B.S. in Design and Environmental Analysis, an MFA in Scene Design and an NEA Grant from Theatre Communications Group. She is based in Buffalo, NY and Los Angeles, CA. Her work has taken her across the US and Canada from Manhattan to Hawaii
