Director of Photography
Joshua Echevarria began his career as a camera assistant before moving into grip and electric, all the while, shooting as much as he could to build his resume. His experience as a set technician advanced his technical knowledge, allowing for effective on set communication and efficient operations within his team. When he graduated to shooting full time, he jumped immediately into a National Geographic doc series traveling around the world. Since then he has shot countless narrative projects, commercials and documentaries spanning across 14 countries and over 20 states. His work is rooted in the story of each project taking a “substance over style” approach by forming a specific vision and aesthetic that prioritizes storytelling and character development above everything.
