Producer
Joseph Zolfo, a New York City native began his producing career in the early 2000’s with independent feature films. Some of his early movies include MARIE AND BRUCE, WEDDING DAZE, THE GIRL IN THE PARK, and THINGS THAT HANG FROM TREES.
Joseph later teamed up with friend, Writer/Director, Boaz Yakin to produce the critically acclaimed 2008 Sundance film, DEATH IN LOVE and in 2011 Zolfo & Yakin collaborated again on the action-packed crime drama, SAFE, starring Jason Statham.
Following the release of SAFE Joseph’s next feature was the thriller, DEAD MAN DOWN, starring Colin Farrell and Terrence Howard.
Joseph Zolfo next segued onto television and teamed up with creator, Ian Edelman and star, Luis Guzman on the HBO series HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA.
Zolfo and Edelman in 2014 went at it again to produce the Focus Features, buddy cop comedy film, PUERTO RICANS IN PARIS, which starred Luis Guzman, Rosario Dawson and Rosie Perez.
Joseph Zolfo produced several other television shows including the CBS hit crime drama, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS; CBS comedy/drama, GOD FRIENDED ME; Warner Bros./DC superhero show, STARGIRL; and the music/drama, STEP UP: HIGH WATER to name a few.
Joseph is currently in production in Atlanta on the Peacock show, HYSTERIA!.
Zolfo has extensive experience producing Film and Television in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina, Louisiana and Georgia.
