Jonathan Angus

Jonathan Scott Angus was born and raised on the East Coast (specifically Charles Town, West Virginia) and moved to Los Angeles for both his love of television and fear of cold winters. He has edited scripted series for NBC, CBS, Universal and SyFy to name a few. He’s also worked in other editing roles for Netflix, Apple, FOX and MTV.

Early in Jonathan’s career he was a staff editor for a leading creative marketing agency, editing behind the scene documentaries for blockbuster films like THE TWILIGHT SAGA. He also wrote and edited numerous trailers for Paramount to promote their home entertainment releases of STAR TREK. His profound interest in space exploration led him to edit documentaries for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Jonathan is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where he studied film and television production. His love for the art of storytelling is matched only by his love for animals, especially those needing rescued. When he’s not commuting to an office, he edits from his home office in the hills just above the Hollywood Bowl. There his long-time rescue pitbull, Benny, gives him great companionship while at the same time keeping Jonathan in a zen state of mind.
