Debra Weinfeld

Debra Beth Weinfeld is a Television and Film Editor whose critically acclaimed work includes “Sneaky Pete” for Amazon, “In Treatment” for HBO and “WeCrashed” for Apple+ TV. She also recently worked on “Mayfair Witches’’ for AMC/AMC+, “Black Cake” for Hulu and “The Madness” for Netflix.

Working in post production for over 29 years, Debra had bridged all aspects of the field. After graduating from Syracuse University she made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an editor. She began her career as an assistant editor working for Frank Morriss whose work includes “Romancing the Stone” and “Duel”  and with his long time director John Badham. She credits Frank with teaching her the most important rule of editing she ever learned, “Never fall in love with an edit, it will be the first moment someone asks to change.”

When she’s not crafting stories at her computer she enjoys baking, knitting and hanging out with her son Aiden, husband Michael and their two cats.
