First Assistant Director
Daniel Lugo earned his BA in Film Production from CUNY: Brooklyn College in 2001. Since joining the DGA in 2013 as a 1st Assistant Director, his credits include Ana Lily Amirpour’s A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night (2014), A.V. Rockwell’s A Thousand and One (2023) and Charlie Kaufman’s Jackals & Fireflies (2023). He also serves as the President of the Brooklyn College Film Department Alumni Association.
