Dana Covarrubias is a two time Emmy Nominated Costume Designer for film and television based in New York City. She has designed costumes for multiple ground breaking productions including Only Murders In the Building (Hulu) starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, Bupkis (Peacock) starring Pete Davidson, Joe Pesci, and Eddie Falco, Life and Beth starring Amy Schumer and Michael Cera, Master of None (Netflix) starring Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, Ramy (A24) starring Ramy Youseff and Mahershala Ali, Mrs. Fletcher (HBO) starring Kathryn Hahn, Claws (TNT) starring Niecy Nash, Quantico (ABC) starring Prianka Chopra, Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central) starring Amy Schumer, Louie (FX) starring Louis CK, and They Came Together (Lionsgate) starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. In 2018 she was recognized for excellence in Costume Design by New York Women In Film and Television. In 2022 and 2023 she was nominated by the Television Academy for an Emmy in the Contemporary Costume Design category for Only Murders In The Building. Dana has worked on location all over the United States as well as in Italy, Ireland, and Canada.
