Costume Designer
Connie Balduzzi is a renowned Argentine costume designer. Among her works, several international productions can be highlighted: “Blood The Last Vampire” (2009), “Lucky Luke” (2009), “The German Friend” (2012), “Focus” (2015), “Tini el gran Cambio de Violeta” (2016) “Colonia” (2017), “Operation Finale” (2018) “Un Crimen Argentino” (Nominated for the Silver Condor Awards and Sur Awards for Best Costume Design, 2022).
In 2004 she filmed “El Ratón Pérez”, her first film as a costume designer, for which she was nominated for the Silver Cóndor Awards. In 2003 she obtained a special mention for best original costumes at the IV National Children’s Theater Competition for her work in the play “Heidi”.
She has worked with important international actors including Sir Ben Kingsley, Emma Watson, Will Smith, Daniel Bruhl, Oscar Isaac, Melanie Laurent, Ricardo Darin, Francesc Orella, Angela Molina, Peter Stauss, Luis Brandoni, Oscar Martinez, Imanol Arias, Jose Sacristan, Robert De Niro, among others.
In 2018 she began collaborating on productions for platforms. For “Maradona Sueño Bendito” (2021), her first work in a TV series is nominated for the Silver Cóndor Awards for best costume design.
Her most recent projects were in collaboration with directors Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat in the series “Nada” and “Bellas Artes”.
