Britt Doughty

Production Designer

Britt Doughty is an accomplished production designer for feature films and television.

Armed with a background in fine arts, Doughty has worked in every area of the art department for over two decades, from graphic designer, set designer to art director and finally production designer.

Architectural Digest featured Doughty in the March 2020 issue for work as Production Designer for the Netflix series SELF MADE starring Octavia Spencer. One of her many highlights from this series was dressing an entire street in Stratford, Ontario, to look like Harlem, New York circa 1918. Other career highlights include the dramatic series SEX/LIFE created by Stacy Rukeyser, the Sweeney Todd inspired series THE HORROR OF DOLORES ROACH, multiple seasons of the critically acclaimed series SUITS starring Gabriel Macht, and working in Europe for the SciFi series IMPULSE as well as the feature film BEAUTIFUL DISASTER.

Of recent, Doughty joined MR. MONK’S LAST CASE: A MONK MOVIE for the first feature film based on the award-winning series starring Tony Shalhoub.
