Costume Designer
Andrea is known for creating couture looks and styles that transports you into the layers of each character in telling their own story. Her extensive styling and creative experience along with her love of her career in the film, tv and print industry, Andréa has had the opportunity to work alongside an abundance of talented directors and actors.
Having started her earlier career in Business and Finance at the University of BC she quickly realized her passion was fashion. Between being a mother and a career in film, Andrea worked her way through the design program at Ryerson University building a solid reputation for her streamline styles.
Today Andréa’s timeless designs transports viewers into another world, diving into the layers of each character within the art of story telling through fashion and design.
Her past credits include BATTLE IN SEATTLE, opening the TIFF, staring Academy Award Winner Charlize Theron and Ray Liotta; CW’S award winning superhero series SUPER GIRL, crediting Andrèa for her innovative fantasy/sci-fi costumes starring Melissa Benoist and Jon Cryer; SITTING ON THE EDGE OF MARLENE staring Canadian actress and winner best actress at Cannes Film Festival Susanne Clément and Callum Keith Rennie; and many more.
Most of all Andréa’s creativity thrives in the diversity of each project, collaborating with all creative minds in front of and behind the camera.
Andréa’s other passions will find her out traveling the world, drinking in the diverse cultural colors, incorporating her experiences of her travels into her aesthetics and designs.
