Alabama Blonde is a Los Angeles based, Australian born, award-nominated costume designer. Recent films include the Kate Bosworth and Emile Hirsch thriller THE IMMACULATE ROOM, which premiered at Mammoth Film Festival and was awarded Best Film and Best Actor. DOWN HERE, directed by Omer Ben Shachar, is currently nominated for a Webby Award and was featured on Nowness, Film Shortage, Directors Notes, Directors Library and Vimeo Staff Pick and Short of the week. Along with thriller SNOW VALLEY, starring Barbara Crampton, David Lambert and Cooper van Grootel & 1970’s coming of age comedy FEELING RANDY with Marguerite Moreau and Chris Mulkey. Alabama just finished working on a 1980’s Texas thriller THE LAST STOP AT YUMA COUNTY by Francis Galluppi, starring Jim Cummings, Jocelin Donahue, Richard Brake, Nicholas Logan, Faizon Love, Barbara Crampton, Sam Huntington and Alex Essoe. Alongside her film work, Alabama has worked with Machine Gun Kelly, Korn, Charli XCX, Noah Cyrus, Saweetie, Tinashe, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Kim Kardashian/Skims & Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. Her work has been showcased at New York Fashion Week, Art Basel, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, Melbourne Fashion week, Re-Evolution Berlin Fashion Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Midsumma Fringe Festival, the WOW museum in New Zealand & the World of Wearable Art Awards, where her has been nominated in the Avant Garde category.
