Eduardo “Gualo” Jaramillo’s recent highlights include his work on notable projects such as Netflix’s “Griselda” (2024), AMC’s “Monsieur Spade” (2024), Netflix’s “La Reina Del Sur: Season 3” (2022), Bleecker Street’s “Ezra” (2024) and AppleTV+’s “Lessons In Chemistry” (2023) which celebrates a Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Music Composition For A Limited Or Anthology Series.

Prior to these recent milestones, the Venezuela-Colombian Miami native composed the original score for the MVProductions/PBS documentary “Art Vessel” (2018) earning the Suncoast Regional Emmy for Best Documentary. He then took on the role of head of music and sound for two Netflix Original Series in collaboration with Telemundo Studios: “La Reina Del Sur (Season 2)” (2019) and “No Te Puedes Esconder” (2019). Both titles received International Emmy nominations in 2020, with “La Reina Del Sur (Season 2)” resulting as winner. In 2022, “The Asylum,” for which Gualo served as the producer of the original score, found local success with premieres in various South Florida theaters, including sold-out showings. It also gained international recognition through film festival participations such as Paladino D’oro in Italy and the Miami Film Festival.
