Producer

Robyn is an award-winning Producer, Line Producer & Production Manager (DGC) based in beautiful, Vancouver, BC.

With over 100 credits and a career that has spanned over 27 years, Robyn has produced numerous award-winning feature films including NUMB, BLACK FLY, DRONE, LAWRENCE & HOLLOWMAN, AMERICAN MARY, THE WINGMAN, and AMAZON FALLS. She also served as UPM on the NBC Universal feature film, BIGGER FATTER LIAR and the TV pilot LET THE RIGHT ONE IN for TNT and Tomorrow Studios; has served as UPM on Chinese Telenovelas TV Series and was the UPM on the Vancouver unit for the Indian blockbuster feature, PHANTOM.

Robyn works regularly on numerous TV movies for Lifetime, Hallmark, Great American Family, and E! where she has served as Producer, Line Producer, Production Manager and Supervising Producer.

Robyn’s past work has also included developing and instructing the Budgeting & Scheduling course for the Vancouver Film School for their Entertainment Business Management Program from 2010-2014 where she worked part-time alongside her full-time film career. She is regularly sought after for her keen budgeting skills at all budget levels. preparing budgets for development, financing and shooting purposes.

Robyn’s other professional accomplishments include her serving as a past President of Gender Equity in Media (GEMS) formerly, WIFTV who, in 2013 awarded Robyn with the Wayne Black Service Award at their Legacy Spotlight Awards – an award given to a woman who’s behind the scenes contribution to the film industry has been exemplary. In 2014, she was also awarded the Irving Avrich Film Fund by TIFF Programmers which recognized 10 Canadian emerging filmmakers; a past participant of TAP. Trans-Atlantic Partners Co-Production Intensive which was held in Berlin and Halifax; is a past award attendee of the World-Renown Banff Centre For Arts and Creativity. Prior to her film career, she is a former theatre Stage Manager, and worked for Canada’s oldest ballet company, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg where she did her major in theatre.

In her spare time, Robyn is an active member of the DGC-BC, serving her third term on Production Manager’s Advisory Committee; is a committee member on the DGC Sustainability Committee and also regularly sits as a juror for the LEO AWARDS. She believes in mentorship and often meets with up and coming film professionals and is committed to creating sets and work environments that are inclusive, supportive and equitable.
