Jonathan Shoemaker

Jonathan Shoemaker is a hands-on producer for feature films and episodic television.  His early career focused on independent films including The Hottest State (ThinkFilm) and Maggie’s Plan (Sony Pictures Classic), and television such as Childrens Hospital (Adult Swim). Later work has favored studio productions including The Trial of the Chicago 7 (Netflix), Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Daredevil (Disney) and American Rust (Showtime).  Recently he was Co-Producer / UPM on Evil S4 (Paramount).  Shoemaker is Co-Chair of the PGA’s Physical Production Committee and also a member of the DGA.  He holds both an MA (Columbia) and BA (UVA) in English Literature.
