Joe Whelan, an acclaimed Irish Hair Designer and Key Hairstylist on the world stage, has left an indelible mark in the film and television industry. Renowned for his work on prominent projects like Vikings: Valhalla (2022), Key hairstylist to Antoine Fuqua’s Infinite (2021), and the Key hairstylist to Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Joe has garnered accolades such as an Emmy nomination for “Penny Dreadful,” an IFTA Nomination, an IFTA win for “Vikings Valhalla” Season 02, and a NZTV Craft Award for “The New Legends of Monkey” Season One. His recent ventures include season 03 “vikings Vallhalla “The Astronaut,” “O’Dessa,” and the upcoming “The Doll Factory”.
