Michael Pitt is a DGA Production Manager based in New York City. Having started his career as a production assistant in 1986, he has over 37 years in film and television production. Growing up in Los Angeles, he was graduated from Brandeis University, and then went on to receive his MFA in Film Producing from the University of Southern California. He moved to New York and joined the Directors Guild of America in 1997, his first DGA job being the pilot for Sex and the City. He was part of the AD team on such films as The Brave One, Hitch, The Thomas Crown Affair, Michael Clayton, and The Devil Wears Prada. As a UPM, on Person of Interest, Ocean’s 8, and HBO’s The Gilded Age.
