Costume Designer
Fernando “Fern” Legadoé is a costume designer and stylist whose work is rooted in character-driven storytelling, using color, pattern, and texture to bring emotional depth and authenticity to the screen and stage.
In His over 12 year career, Legadoé’s work spans film, television, live performance, and theater, reflecting a dynamic range and a strong visual point of view.
His broad experience has received film credits include A24’s Moonlight (as assistant to costume designer Caroline Eselin), The Florida Project, The Inspection, and Sundance award-winning films In the Summers and Nine Days. Most recently, he costume designed Carousel, which premiered as the opening night film at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
He served as assistant costume designer for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, translating large-scale spectacle into cohesive visual storytelling, and designed the highly anticipated third season of P-Valley. On stage, he designed Jeremy O. Harris’ Spirit of the People at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. His additional credits include David Makes Man, Swagger, and The Horror of Dolores Roach.
Known for pushing creative boundaries, Legadoé approaches each project with a commitment to authenticity, crafting costumes that not only define character but deepen narrative. He believes in the true expression of self as a subconscious embodiment of identity manifested through form, style and the craft of design.
