Director/Writer/Choreographer

As a Choreographer, Paul Becker’s portfolio spans over 100 films, 400 television episodes, and an extensive range of concert and theatre works. His methodology prioritizes storytelling, pushing the boundaries of traditional choreography with innovative narrative techniques. Recognized for his meticulous preparation and creative foresight, Paul has become a benchmark in the industry. His notable projects include choreography for Disney’s Descendants, Julie & The Phantoms, Ralph Breaks the Internet from Disney Animation, the Kissing Booth franchise, The Twilight series, Deadpool 2, HBO’s The Last of Us, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, The Muppets, Once Upon a Time, Disney’s Prom Pact, Paramount’s Honor Society, Good Boys, A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Are We There Yet?, Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch, RV, Barbie Princess Adventures, Disney’s Tron Ares, Overboard, This Means War, the Scooby Doo series, the Riverdale series for CW, Dancing With The Stars, Psych, American Horror Story, Adventures in Babysitting for Disney, among many others.

As a Director, Paul is currently Directing, Choreographing, Songwriting for LEGO’s new live Action Movie titled Heartlake the Musical.  Paul’s work on Julie and the Phantoms for Netflix received critical acclaim, securing 13 Emmys and the Rotten Tomatoes “Golden Tomato” award as the highest reviewed series of the year. He directed Breaking Brooklyn for Lionsgate, alongside directing live concerts for Kanye West and The Jonas Brothers. His role extended to Producer and Creative Director for the Canada’s Got Talent TV series, earning widespread praise for directing and choreographing the 2015 Pan American Games closing ceremonies.

As a Writer, Paul co-wrote Breaking Brooklyn with Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr. He is also behind the Christmas feature film Dream Again, in collaboration with FAO Schwarz Toy store in NYC, and has crafted live entertainment scripts for Sesame Street Live “Let’s Party” and The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
