First Assistant Director
Marco Ciglia (DGA) is a seasoned management professional with over 25 years of hands-on, practical filmmaking experience as a First Assistant Director. Prior to this he worked for several years as a key 2ndAD.
His last feature film ‘Death of Unicorn’ was shot in Hungary, Slovenia and Italy for A24 and starred Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Richard E. Grant, Téa Leoni and Jessica Hynes. He has worked on countless HETV drama series including ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Carnival Row’, ‘The Terror’, ‘Brave New World’ and ‘Vikings’ to name a few.
He has filmed in many places around the world, including Hungary, UK, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia, Malta, Luxembourg, Austria, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Marco is a dual national, holding both British & Italian passports, and maintains homes in Prague, London and Milan.
